Python is excellent server-side programming language. I used it with Flask web server in Docker container hosted on SAAS cloud in my last project.

.GraphQL by Facebook is excellent alternative to conventional API's. Several end points in conventional API is reduced to single end point by using GraphQL.

Node.js

7+ years' experience

Node.js is light weight single thread JavaScript based server. It has good ecosystem with thousands of third-party libraries. I love working with node.js.

JavaScript

JavaScript has greatly evolved over the period. It is today the most preferred programming language for the web.

PostgreSQL

4+ years' experience

PostgreSQL is the database of my choice. My all projects are powered by PostgreSQL. It scales well and provides a rich set of flexible SQL queries.

By using Docker, you can deploy your platform, tools and artifacts in a container and in turn host it on cloud. My last few projects are deployed as docker containers on cloud.
